Invitation: Religion, Innovation and Mental Health (RIM)

The Religion, Innovation, and Mental Health (RIM) programme is organized by Pastor Samuel Entsua-Mensah (the agent of the Global Presbyterian Worship Centre Eindhoven [GPWC]), in collaboration with the Netherlands-Belgium District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), the Young People’s Guild (YPG) and the Young Adult’s Fellowship (YAF) within the district. The programme takes place at 15:00 CET, Saturday, 27th May 2023, at Charity’s House (1st floor), Bilmerdreef 1239, 1103 TX, Amsterdam Zuidoost. Below are the profiles of the speakers on the schedule.

Speaking on Religion: Rev. Seth D. Adzokatse

Rev. Seth D. Adzokatse will be speaking on the topic concerning Youth, Religion, and Spirituality. He is the District Minister for the Netherlands Belgium District of the PCG. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Peace, Security, Development and International Conflict Transformation and is currently pursuing a Research Master’s degree in Public Theology (Peace, Trauma Religion) from the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. He is also a fellow learner at the Centre for Theology and Migration at the Faculty of Theology of VU Amsterdam. Rev Seth has undertaken several roles in prison chaplaincy, counselling and administration. His passion lies in getting the youth to be closer to God. He contributed to the recently published “Called to be Free” work by the Nederlands-Vlaams Bijbelgenootschap (Dutch-Flemish Bible Society)

Speaking on Innovation: Mr. Daniel Sarpong Jnr

Mr. Daniel Sarpong Jnr will be speaking on the topic concerning Business Innovation. He is the director of Global Partnerships for Arkad Consult and Executive Training. You can describe Daniel as a Global Business Strategist and Mindset coach. His work cuts across life coaching, digital transformation strategy and transformational keynote speaking. He holds a master’s in Business Administration in Project Management and is a member of the Charted Institute of Marketing – UK. He has organised several seminars and training programmes for top organizations like the United Nations (UNFPA), Coca-cola, KPMG, Total Energies and others. He has authored several revolutionary books which include “12 Sales Secrets the Global 500 Companies Don’t Want You to Know” and “Mind Games”.

Speaking on Mental Health: Maame Durowah Okai-Downer

Maame Durowah Okai-Downer will be speaking on the topic concerning Mental Health. She functions in several capacities as a pastor, social worker, family counselor and purpose coach. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Social Work/ Int. Social Work and Community Development from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and also training in Personal Development and Leadership from the Myles Munroe Leadership Mentoring Program. She has authored several books that include “I have never become who I Am; A journey in Finding YOU” and “My Heart Speaks; Exploring, Talking and Learning about Feelings”. She is the developer of the “I am Mentoring Program” which has been hosted in several countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, England and other countries. Maame is the founder of the Brighter Day Foundation and the Kingdom Citizen Center (KCC) training and counseling agency. She is specialized in Youth Delinquencies, Mental Health, Culture Diversity, Parenting Support, Complex Multi problem Families and others.
