Just Shine

The Sun doesn’t need anyone’s permission or approval to shine.

It doesn’t care about whatever opinions people hold.

It is so busy and concerned with doing what it does best.

It keeps shining even though the son of men may experience darkness.

It keeps shining even though some may say it’s too bright,

It keeps shining even though others may say it’s too hot.

It keeps shining even though the clouds may cover it.

It keeps shining regardless.

So it is with your beauty.

Beauty is what you are,

not what others think about you.

You don’t need their approval to shine.

Just shine.
